Found Art Contest

Where: Lebanon Conference & Banquet Center, 121 S. Broadway, Lebanon, OH 45036

When: ***NEW DATES!*** Deadline for entry is April 7, 2017. Exhibition dates are May 12 - June 2, 2017

Details: Open to all ages, this art contest invites everyone, not just artists and art students, to enter an original work of "Found Art"! "Found Art," or art trouve is a genre of art where everyday objects are transformed into works of art. Inspired by local artist Denis Bruss and his amazing exhibits, "The Imagine Nation" and "Ochre Acres," the Warren County Historical Society and the Arts Council of Lebanon have joined efforts to organize this contest and show. Both organizations are active in the arts and culture of Lebanon and Warren County and encourage you to try your hand at creating a "found art" piece!

So don't hold back -- find it, clean it, glue it, paint it, weld it, sculpt it, create it!!

First, Second, Third, and Honorable Mention awards will be given in the following categories: Professional Adult (age 18+), Amateur Adult (age 18+), Children: under 5 years old, 5-9 years old, 10-13 years old, and 14-17 years old. A Best in Show award will also be given.

Cost: Entry fee is $5 per entry, limit of two entries per person.

To enter, a completed application and photo of the finished piece must be submitted by April 7, 2017. Click here to view and print the UPDATED rules and application form. Questions? Contact the Warren County Historical Society at or 513-932-1817.
