The German Heritage of Southwest Ohio
TOPIC: According to a recent U.S. Census, some 40% of the population of Ohio claims German ancestry. In the 19th Century, southwest Ohio was the recipient of one of the largest concentrations of German immigration in the United States. Dr. Tolzmann will explore the everyday examples of German heritage in this area that are often taken for granted and overlooked.

German-American Collection and Director of the German-American Studies Program at the University of Cincinnati
Cost: $20 per person, includes gourmet box lunch, lecture, and museum admission.

Glendower Historic Mansion Opens for the Season

Warren County Goes Hollywood
TOPIC: We will discuss the two major motion pictures that were filmed in Lebanon, Ohio: “Harper Valley PTA” and “Milk Money.” We will also look at some of the actors who have hailed from Warren County. They range from an Academy Award nominated actor to character actors in movies and on television whose names you can’t remember but whose faces you’ll never forget.
SPEAKER:John J. Zimkus, Historian of the Warren County Historical Society Cost: $20 per person, includes gourmet box lunch, lecture, and museum admission.

Vendors may rent a table space of 8′ x 4′ for $50 for use with vendor’s own table; table rentals available if needed for an additional $12 per table. All rental fees cover both days and are due one week in advance; fees are non-refundable. WCHS is also seeking donations from members and friends of clean, usable items to sell.
