The Ohio Valley Civil War Association Returns to Glendower

Admission is FREE
Canons blast, soldiers drill and fire their rifles, while camp fires simmer a soldier’s supper. Visit the U.S. Sanitary Commission hospital tent, the information officer in the signal corps tent and much more.

Admission is $5.00 adults, $4.50 seniors over 65,
$3.50 Students under 18
Past Encampments:
A Civil War Encampment was held at the Glendower Mansion in Lebanon, Ohio on August 1st and 2nd, 2009, featuring reinactors from a number of units, displays of weapons, uniforms, cannon firing, rifle firings, and other displays. Units represented included The 35th Ohio Regt. Vol., The 1st Ohio Battery C Artillery, Birges Western Sharpshooters, The 5th Michigan Cavalry, The Sanitary Commission, The 19th U.S. Regulars, and The U. S. Army Signal Corps.
