Glendower Costumed Volunteers

Volunteer at Glendower Historic Mansion

For the 2016 Summer season, we are seeking volunteers to help staff Glendower Historic Mansion as tour guides and/or as greeters/ticket-takers for at at least one day per week beginning the week of June 8th through September 3rd

When: June 8 - September 3, Wednesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for guided tours; other days for groups by appointment.

Where: Glendower Historic Mansion, 105 Cincinnati Avenue, Lebanon, OH 45036.

Details: "We are looking for people who like history, art, and culture and who would enjoy sharing Glendower’s stories with visitors," said Glendower’s manager, Elizabeth Grauwelman. "High school and college students looking for volunteer credit hours are very welcome as are adults of any age." Costumes are not required but are encouraged and may be borrowed from the Glendower’s costume collection.

Volunteers will receive a Glendower Tour Guide Handbook and there will be three training classes available. Volunteers may come to one or more classes. Training classes will be held on May 26, June 2, and June 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glendower.
