Group Tours at the Warren County History Center

When: By appointment during the hours of 10 am-4 pm Tuesday-Friday, and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.

Where: The Warren County History Center, 105 S. Broadway, Lebanon, OH 45036

Details: The Warren County History Center is in the heart of Historic Downtown Lebanon, just two doors south of the Golden Lamb inn and close to a myriad of antiques stores and unique specialty shops. On the Warren County History Center tour, an introductory talk by one of our qualified staff is followed by a self-guided tour of our 3-story museum (elevator available), which is housed in Harmon Hall c1913. The museum is home to several award-winning exhibits, including a nationally recognized Shaker gallery and an Underground Railroad exhibit. Other exhibits include sculpture and paintings, a Russell Wright pottery exhibit, ancient fossils, and a pioneer cabin replica. The tour takes about one hour.

Traditional Afternoon Tea & Craft Package

Includes a traditional afternoon tea, an herbal sachet craft, and a museum tour.

The Tea: Enjoy a traditional afternoon British tea, all served on china: Assortment of hot teas, lemonade and coffee.

First course: cucumber sandwiches on white bread, pimento cheese on wheat bread and compound herbal butter on rye (no seeds).
Second course: British jam cake.
Last course: Assortment of dainty cookies.
The tea includes a talk about the tradition of the afternoon tea and the types of teas being served. Recipe cards will be available for some of the foods as a take-away. 

The Craft: Following the tea, craft your own herbal sachet from a selection of dried herbs. Herb sachets help keep moths away and impart a pleasant fragrance into dresser drawers and closets. 

The Tour: Lastly, tour members will be given a short introduction and will then explore the museum and see all of the exhibits.

Cost: All of the above for $25.00 per person, minimum 15 people, maximum 100.
