This work was given by a generous donor. After our art department cleaned the work, they believed it to be a previously unknown work of Sir Thomas Lawrence. After it was viewed by a passing expert on Sir Thomas Lawrence, our suspicions were confirmed.

​The work is now on display in Harmon Museum.
