Did you ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes at Harmon Museum? Come join the staff for four evenings of fun and insight into what makes our museum tick!
We’ll take “campers” into the off-limits areas of the museum where they’ll learn what it takes to set up an exhibit, restore a painting, accession items into the collection and more fun stuff!
Each evening participants will spend time with specialists in each of the historical society's many departments - from art conservation, to textile preservation, curatorial, historical research to event and exhibit planning. Each evening is topped-off with an in-depth exploration of one of the many galleries in the Harmon Museum; Folk Art, Contemporary Art, Armstrong Gallery of Flight, Jones Shaker Gallery, Kaufman Gallery of American Art, and so much more!
What Ages is History Camp for?
History Camp is for adults 21 and over.
