The Four Season Blue Hole Art Contest invites visual artists to create a contemporary interpretation of the famous Blue Hole on the Little Miami River (right). The contest is open to artists professional and amateur alike. Artists may choose to submit works for any or all of the four seasons (up to 4 works, one for each season).

The Blue Hole is a picturesque location, on the scenic Little Miami River, located in John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs, Ohio. It has been inspiration for numerous artists over the years, including Robert Duncanson (1821-1872) who's work, The Blue Hole, currently hangs in the Cincinnati Art Museum.
