Saturday morning is a perfect time for coffee and art. Join us at 10am, at Harmon Museum, when our curator, Michael Coyan, or another member of our conservation team, gives leads a discussion on a different aspect of art (movement history, evolution of a medium, art of an era, etc.). These discussions last roughly 90 minutes.

Cost: Members: Free
          Non-Members: $10
If you are a member and wish to attend, please inform us of your intent.

Discussions begin at 10am.

​Days that are canceled will be made up the following week and notice to the participants will be given.

Previous topics include:
The Art of the Frame - From antique frames to modern, this class examined all aspects of framing works of art, and the history of various types.
​Be Seated! The History and Styles of Chairs - This class will explored the craft of the chair.
​The Performing Arts in Warren County: 1832-1982 - From Edwin Forrest to Woody Harrelson, this place has a national standing in the world of drama, musical theatre, and opera.
History of Photography - Photography developed over a 50-year journey, with over 45 people claiming it as "their" invention. This class will look back at the inventors and inovations that shaped this artform.
Art Deco - Beginning in France in 1925, Art Deco has influencing the design of everything from buildings to fashion and transportation to home appliances. Roaring across America through the 1930's, this talk will explore Art Deco's influence in SW Ohio.
Frank Lloyd Wright - The architect is well known for his work, but how well do you know the man behind "Fallingwater"? Join us for this introspective along with anecdotal charm.
History of Miniatures - Whether they be paintings, drawings or carvings, this artform began in the Court of King Henry VIII and remained popular through the reign of Queen Victoria. Explore the origins and creators of this delicate art.
