Next Concert: Bones of Cincinnatus | March 11th, 2021 @ 7:30pm
In the 1960s and 70s, Lebanon played host to the Cincinnati Symphony for a series of concerts. Due to their popularity, the concert series grew to add more dates and include a number of musical artists. Concerts were held eight months out of the year. One four-part series was held, in the summer months, on the lawn at Berry Middle School and, during the winter months, the auditorium of the Junior High. The auditorium was actually built with hosting the symphony in mind. This all changed with the construction of Riverbend and the concert series ceased to be.
It's been 50 years since there was a music series in Lebanon. Until now...
In the tradition of the concert series of the 60s and 70s, Harmon Museum is proud to introduce Music at the Museum, a five-part concert series of South Western Ohio artists. Every second Thursday of the month, enjoy a new artist: a trombone ensemble with the Bones of Cincinnatus, Folk and Bluegrass with Lafferty Pike, Ragtime with Monika Herzig, Classical Guitar with Jim McCutcheon and Jazz with an artist TBD. Concerts begin at 7:30pm at Harmon Museum. Tickets are limited to 40 persons as to allow for social distancing.
