We are prepared to safely begin some of our events, while following the CDC and Department of Health guidelines. We are restricting the number of attendees to 6 to allow for social distancing. Enhanced cleaning protocols have been instituted and will take place after each event. For more information, please call the office at (513) 932-1817.

December 12th  | 10:30a & 2:30p

The Westerner... a Postcard to the Girl He Left Behind is the newest novel by Carol Tonnesen, author of the Postcard Mysteries. Join us for a tea/talk/tour to celebrate! Hot tea or lemonade and tea sandwiches will be served as Carol talks about her newest novel. Then, she'll take you on a tour of Glendower, giving the history of the property as well as how it ties to the events of her book. All guests will receive a signed copy of The Westerner... a Postcard to the Girl He Left Behind.

Each time slot is limited to 10 people and held in Glendower's parlor.

Based on the real lives of two Lebanon citizens, this East meets West story is about the love between a girl from the East and a soldier stationed in the West.

As the nation recovers from the Civil War, America continues its expanse westward. Lieutenant James Madison Burns meets the lovely Lebanon native, Caroline Corwin Sage, at a party hosted by the owners of Glendower Mansion. The two instantly take a shine to each other and their love blossoms. As tensions mount between America and the Indian Nations, James is sent West to serve under the command of General George Armstrong Custer. Letters never enough, Caroline is determined not to become the girl he left behind...
