Image Use
The Warren County Historical Society and other parties listed therein hold the copyright to the images, design, and text on our website, unless otherwise noted. The contents of this web site are available for non-commercial, personal, and educational use and may be freely accessed or downloaded on a temporary basis for the sole purpose of viewing. Use of site content for such purposes must include attribution to the author/artist, the Warren County Historical Society, and reference to the URL www.wchsmuseum.org.

Archives
We permit and encourage personal use. High quality or high-resolution versions are available on request, for these purposes, with associated fees for duplication and delivery, and in some cases, digitization when the item hasn’t been previously digitized. Note that visitors can use collections already available online for personal and educational use without special permission from the Warren County Historical Society but must give credit to the Warren County Historical Society and and reference to the URL www.wchsmuseum.org.

Copyright, Rights, and Restrictions
Use of the Archives’ documents, images, audio, and video materials for publication, commercial use, or distribution requires written permission and licensing from the Executive Director of the Warren County Historical Society. Licensing for some materials may also require approval of the artist of second copyright holder. Licensing fees apply in addition to any digitization, duplication, and delivery fees. Waivers for licensing fees for non-profit and scholarly projects may be granted at the Warren County Historical Society's discretion. To request licensing authorization, contact the office to fill out our rights & reproduction request form.
Use of the Warren County Historical Society's restricted documents, images, audio, and video collections material requires special written authorization from the Warren County Historical Society and may also require authorization from other parties depending on the material.

The collection (archives, art, artifacts, etc.) are obtained from many sources. Certain works may be protected by copyright, trademark, or related interests not governed by the Warren County Historical Society. Permission for use will be granted only to the extent of the Warren County Historical Society's ownership of the rights relating to your particular interest. The responsibility for ascertaining whether any additional rights exist, and for obtaining all necessary permissions, remains with the researcher.
