As you may have heard, the restoration and safe relocation of the 1795 Beedle Log cabin is well under way. When the project is completed, we will have not only saved the oldest log structure in Warren County, but, with the inclusion of a Shaker herb garden, paved walkway and educational resources, will have displayed it in such a way as to show respect to those that came before us by preserving and sharing it with generations to come.

Armstrong Gallery of FlightNeil Armstrong lived in Warren County longer than any other one place. To honor him, his family, and all the other historic Warren County flyers, we are creating the Armstrong Gallery of Flight. With the help of some amazing volunteers, we hope to capture the history of aviation in Warren County. If you have any artifacts you feel should be on display, and wish to donate them, email us or call the office at 513 932-1817. Click here to learn more about the Armstrong Gallery of Flight.

When Lebanon Public library offered us shared access to their new parking lot outside our back doors, we immediately made plans to build a new handicapped accessible entrance to both Harmon Museum and the Old Post Office. For the first time in many years, we had to secure a mortgage to complete this project.

We've made a lot of changes in the last two years, installing our art galleries and updating the Village Green. Now we just need the light to show it off! The light we DO have is old and needs to be updated (some of the lighting requires bulbs they don't even make anymore).

We are working hard to make history more accessible to everyone. One of the projects we would like to begin is a self-guided tour system much like you find at the Cincinnati Zoo. This way, those that have trouble reading or those that prefer not to, can listen to the history as they examine the artifact, collection or exhibit.
Children's Educational ProgramsAs a nonprofit organization, our museums provide transformative learning experiences for children and families in our community and beyond with our exhibits, school tours and award-winning History Camp.

Friends of Glendower is an organization of those who support Glendower Mansion and Gardens and its education mission with either monetary donations or volunteer hours.
Money and time are needed in abundance to keep both the house and the gardens available for tours and educational programs. In 2018 the Friends of Glendower volunteers worked a total of 2560 hours valued at $8 per hour or $20,480 worth of volunteer service. The goal is to raise money to match the worth of volunteer hours. Donate here by clicking the link below. We thank you for your contribution to preserving our piece of history. |
The Armstrong Conference Center is located next door to Harmon Museum, and was Lebanon's Post Office until it moved to its new location on New St. This beautiful building is home to our Quarterly Flea Market, Lunch and Learn Lectures, Black Bag Bingo and other events. It also acts as a Conference Center rentable for events, parties and weddings. We keep the price low to provide a nice space for those on a budget and have had nothing but positive feedback from those that have held their special events here.
