The Collection of the Warren County Historical Society

For over 70 years, volunteer librarians and archivists have recorded and collected historical and genealogical information for our library.
Included in our archives are materials on:
  • Shakers and Union Village (the largest collection in the world)
  • Family records (birth, marriage, death and cemetery records)
  • Building histories (private residence, public buildings, schools, businesses and local places of worship)
  • National Normal University
  • Court records,
  • Atlases (property lines and geographic changes through the eras)
  • Local newspapers (a complete collection of Lebanon's newspaper, the Western Star, is available on microfilm)
